This painting, which I call “Thrive,” is about celebrating you being at your best. It represents your life when you are done being complacent and doing things in an “average” way.

The Process

Life is a process, a series of steps that you need to take in order to create the end results that you seek.

Have you ever felt excited about your goal one day—and then the very next day feel like your batteries are drained? Why do you feel so tired? Why have you lost your motivation?

How often do you wake up in the morning and then immediately leave the house, start your day and do a million things. Or at least it feels like you do a million things. But then at the end of the day you still feel like nothing was done?

On your journey to achieving greatness and becoming your best version of yourself, there’s an important element that you should not overlook: Friendships.

Have you ever gone for a hike and as the terrain got steeper you started to run out of breath? Well, holding onto the past is a little bit like this in many ways.

Songs of the Night

Have you ever wondered how to insert your desires for your life into your subconscious? Well, I have. If you are feeling a little adventurous, try this exercise for about 10 days or so. And if you are really feeling adventurous, try this exercise until it has truly been implanted into your dreams.

Echoes of Fall

In life we have highs and lows at various times in our lives. And when I was painting this water color “Echoes of Fall” I had started to think about the many Universal Laws, one of which is the Law of Rhythm.

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means your “reason for being. It’s the thing that gets you up in the morning and gives your life a sense of purpose. It’s a reason for living.

Giving Your Best

When I spotted this bighorn sheep in the distance at the Anza-Borrego Desert Park in California, I could tell right away that he had a lifetime of experience and wisdom about him.

Pushing Through the Fear

It’s 6:00 on Sunday morning and my alarm goes off. However, today in particular I am feeling a bit fatigued. My body and my current state of mind are getting a huge dose of “Resistance.”

Standing in a California desert, you gaze upon an amazing and majestic Bighorn Sheep that seems to exude a sense of inner strength and “Perseverance” in life.

Inner Voice

The following is a story that I’ve told before but I wanted to retell this message on listening to your inner voice because I think it’s worth hearing it again.

Start With Happy

I was recently chatting with someone and we starting talking about your “Life’s Purpose” and how she was feeling sad because she hasn’t seemed to have found this yet in her life.
